Fully Automated Cell

Our SLA printing cell is fully automated. No manual intervention needed between jobs — machines load, print, and queue continuously.

Runs while you sleep

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An order placed in the evening doesn't wait until morning, it goes straight into the queue.

Fastest UK lead times

The result is the shortest SLA turnaround in the UK. Parts that take competitors 3–5 days can often be with you the next working day.

Post-processing & despatch

Finished parts are cleaned, cured, and inspected before despatch.

SLA materials

Modelling Resin

High-detail, low-cost resin ideal for visual prototypes, concept models, and display parts. Excellent dimensional accuracy across fine features.

High surface finish quality

Fine feature resolution

Suitable for painting & finishing

50 MPa Tough Resin

Engineered for parts that need to withstand mechanical stress. Suitable for enclosures, brackets, and components requiring impact resistance.

High impact & tensile strength

Consistent mechanical properties

Waterproof under normal operating conditions

Suitable for UAV and Maritime use cases.

Heat Resistant Resin

For applications that see elevated temperatures: engine bay components, electronic housings, ductwork, and industrial tooling. Maintains dimensional stability under heat.

Heat deflection @0.45MPa 65°C

Dimensionally stable under load

55MPa tensile strength

Suitable for UAV and maritime use cases.

What is SLA 3D-printing?

What is SLA 3D-printing?

Stereolithography (SLA) is a resin-based additive manufacturing process that uses a UV laser to cure photopolymer resin layer by layer. It produces parts with exceptionally smooth surface finish and fine detail resolution — making it the preferred choice when visual quality, tight tolerances, or surface texture matter.

Compared to FDM (filament-based) printing, SLA parts have superior surface quality and isotropic mechanical properties. Compared to SLS, SLA excels at fine features and smooth aesthetics. It's a common choice for rapid prototyping, end-use parts in low volumes, and tooling aids across engineering industries.

What is the lead time on SLA printed parts?

Because our facility runs 24/7 most parts ship within 36 hours of ordering, even at the weekend.

What is the maximum build size for SLA parts?

We can support part sizes up to 350x190x350mm.

What tolerances can you support?

1–30 mm features: ±0.15% (lower limit: ±0.02 mm) 31–80 mm features: ±0.3% (lower limit: ±0.06 mm) 81–150 mm features: ±0.3% (lower limit: ±0.15 mm) We recommend a minimum hole or gap size of 0.5mm to prevent fusing.
